Max Dowman Makes History With Three Guinness World Records After Remarkable Arsenal Breakthrough

    0 0

Max Dowman has continued to make football history after an impressive breakthrough season with Arsenal, earning three Guinness World Records before even reaching his 17th birthday. The teenage winger became one of the most talked-about young players during the 2025-26 campaign after making 13 senior appearances and producing several memorable moments for the Premier League champions.

One of Dowman's biggest achievements came when he scored against Everton in the Premier League at just 16 years and 73 days old. The young forward showed remarkable composure as he sprinted from his own half, avoided two defenders and finished into an unguarded net after goalkeeper Jordan Pickford had moved forward for a corner. His goal officially made him the youngest player ever to score in the Premier League.

Dowman had already established himself in the record books before that historic goal. At 15 years and 308 days, he came off the bench during Arsenal's Champions League victory over Slavia Prague, becoming the youngest player ever to appear in the competition. His achievement was particularly remarkable because no other 15-year-old had previously featured in the Champions League.

The teenager added another record to his collection after Arsenal secured their first Premier League title since 2004. Dowman received a winner's medal at just 16 years and 144 days, making him the youngest player ever to achieve the feat. The previous record belonged to Phil Foden, who was 17 when he was part of Manchester City's historic 100-point Premier League campaign.

Although Dowman narrowly missed out on a fourth record after making his Arsenal debut at 15 years and 235 days, his rapid development has continued into the new season. He scored twice in Arsenal's 4-2 Carabao Cup victory over Ipswich in September, further highlighting his potential. With Arsenal preparing to face Leeds again, the same opponent against whom Dowman made his senior debut, attention will now turn to whether the teenager can add even more milestones to his already remarkable career.
